Fire District personnel respond to Structure Fires, grass Fires, Wildfires, auto accidents and also provide ALS first responder services to our residents working closely along side Delaware County EMS and Morrow County EMS on Emergency Medical calls. Our fire protection district serves 7,059 residents and covers 69 square miles in Northeast Delaware County and Southwest Morrow County. After being accepted by the Fire Department you will need Firefighter and Emergency Medical training. You will be scheduled at state certified training facilities for training that accommodates your schedule. You must complete the training and receive State of Ohio Fire/EMS Training Certificates. The Fire District covers all costs associated with your Firefighter training and EMT basic training.
