Marion Volunteer Fire Department is seeking volunteers for any and all positions. Volunteers are needed to sew and donate quilts or quilt tops for children in need. These quilts are given to children facing serious health challenges, abuse, or trauma. Volunteers can send in their handmade quilts or quilt tops to be finished by the organization.

Volunteers are needed to sponsor and assist with Tuesday afternoon sessions, engaging with students through games and conversations. Sponsors also help provide snacks and support the students' development in music and art.

Develop and oversee social media content to drive awareness and engagement for Room Redux. Manage social media calendar and execute influencer programs.

Take Before & After photos of each Room Transformation for the website and social media. Specialized experience and equipment are not necessary.

Responsible for the identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of donors. Manage campaigns, special events, and sponsorship relationships to support Room Transformations and capital projects.

Specialize in content management on the digital marketing team. Coordinate digital web projects, manage social media posts, and assist with reporting needs.

Plan events and coordinate activities to encourage donations. Work on a team to meet fundraising goals and improve communication and leadership skills.

Assist with framing, painting, plumbing, and other tasks to help finish new buildings at the headquarters. Handy individuals familiar with construction sites are encouraged to apply.

As a Volunteer Executive Director, you will develop referral sources, execute room assessments, and plan and fully execute Room Transformations in your area. You will also pursue funding opportunities and grow a network of volunteers.

Volunteers assist with programming on topics like biology, ecology, and conservation for both youth and adults. They also conduct tours, assist with planting, invasive plant removal, and site maintenance during weekly workdays.

As an events volunteer, you will help work booths at different events around town, assisting with donations and spreading the mission of Service Dogs for Kids. This role involves engaging with the community and sharing the organization's story.

Organization volunteers are involved in the long-term development of Service Dogs for Kids, potentially serving as board members. This role is ideal for those looking to make a significant impact within the organization.

Foster volunteers provide temporary homes for service dog candidates, beginning basic training until the dogs are matched with a child. This role is crucial in transitioning dogs into the program and requires dedication to the cause.

Help with fundraising activities including grant-writing, community outreach, and communicating with local governments and citizens.

Walk the dogs at the shelter so they have some time outside their kennels. This is typically done on Monday & Thursday mornings.

Take a boarding dog for a doggy day out or a sleepover! Boarding dogs do not get as much individual attention as foster dogs and need love too.

Transport dogs to rescues or to their vet checkups. Transport supplies and medication to and from fosters.

Assist with keeping online adoption profiles up-to-date and coordinate with the adoption team on reviewing applications, calling references, and organizing documents.

Plan and organize small and large scale events to support the organization's mission and fundraising efforts.
