Assist biologist Eric Slayton in a multi-year bird-banding project documenting the spring and fall songbird migrations. Volunteers will help with netting and banding birds, contributing to a nationwide research database.

Join us for an afternoon building a bridge or a morning clearing the former ski slopes to create wildlife habitat. Volunteers will help maintain trails and improve habitat for wildlife. No special skills are required, just a willingness to work outdoors.

Assist in digging and raking out ditches and culverts on the West River Trail to improve drainage and trail conditions. Volunteers will work in teams and are encouraged to bring work gloves and tools if available.

Our unique Peer Volunteer program is an awesome opportunity for younger volunteers to make a significant contribution. Peer buddies provide socialization for our students and must be between the ages of 12-15, ski or ride on blue terrain, and commit to a minimum of six days of volunteering.

If you are 16 or 17 years old, ski or ride safely and confidently on all blue terrain, and have a desire to share your passion with others, you are a great candidate to be an adaptive volunteer instructor. You must commit to a minimum of six days of volunteering, and training will be provided.

Join us for a workday to help remove invasive plant species on the Riverstone Preserve. Volunteers will learn to identify and pull common invasive plants, contributing to the preservation of the trail's natural beauty.

Assist in maintaining the darkroom and digital lab, provide technical assistance to VCP members, and help with printing and chemistry management.

Help maintain the VCP facility by performing tasks such as mopping floors, dusting surfaces, and cleaning bathrooms.

Assist with the inventory of new and old book acquisitions in the VCP library and bookshop.

Assist in selling vintage camera gear and film. Tasks include cleaning, prepping, labeling, pricing camera gear, and managing online sales through Instagram and the website.

Be present at VCP to help answer questions about the exhibitions, serve as a public face of VCP, and answer basic questions from visitors.

Provide technical support for events by operating audio and video equipment. Volunteers will help enhance the audience's experience through high-quality sound and visuals.

Distribute promotional materials for upcoming events to increase community awareness and engagement. Volunteers will help spread the word about Epsilon Spires' events and activities.

Assist with administrative tasks such as organizing documents, managing schedules, and supporting the Executive Director. Volunteers play a crucial role in maintaining the organization's operations.

Assist with event support by taking tickets at the door, setting up and cleaning up event spaces, and preparing refreshments. Volunteers help ensure events run smoothly and provide a welcoming environment for attendees.

Share your love of sports with a young person as a spectator or participant. This opportunity allows you to engage in sports activities with a youth.

Spend time with a youth doing activities you both enjoy in the community. This role requires a commitment of 2-4 hours a month for at least one year.

This program is designed for members of police, sheriff, and fire departments to mentor a young person, fostering positive relationships and community engagement.
