Join our Grief Services volunteer team to help provide connection and hope to suicide loss survivors in our community. Volunteers can either be loss survivors who have done their own grief work or caring individuals with experience in support roles, and will receive training and supervision to support them in their role.

As a volunteer firefighter you will: * Respond to fire alarms and extinguish fires as a member of a team. * Protect life and property by performing firefighting, emergency medical services, hazardous materials mitigation, rescue and fire prevention duties. * Engage in firefighting activities including, laying hose, raising ladders, and performing fire combat operating fire trucks, power tools, and equipment. * Provide emergency medical services at your level of training and certification (EMT, Paramedic or First Responder). * Participate in fire drills, attends classes in firefighting, rescue, EMS, hazardous materials and related subjects. * Assist with the inspection of buildings, hydrants, static water sources, and other structures and systems in fire prevention programs. Participates in the preplanning of buildings and hazards. * Perform general maintenance and cleaning of fire & rescue facilities, trucks, and equipment. * Provide programs to the community about safety, first aid, accident & illness prevention and fire prevention. * Participate in natural disaster operations to protect people and property during blizzards and hurricanes. * Teach others to be firefighters and EMS providers. TREASURED LIFE INITIATIVE INC
