Training is provided in house as well as through the NM Fire Academy , UNM or CNM. A pay per call is available to members who have successfully completed their 6 month probationary period. District 5 covers approximately 525 sq mile of Ne Torrance County , as well as I-40 from the Santa Fe County line to the Guadalupe County line.
