Support Susie Q’s Kids by assembling comfort bags for kids in need. These bags provide comfort to sick kids, foster kids, and those in shelters or facing challenges.

Volunteers are needed for a variety of tasks at the sanctuary, involving many different skill sets. This includes participating in the Michigan State University Master Gardner Extension Program and helping with animal care and sanctuary maintenance.

Assist Furget Us Not Rescue with fundraising and advertising efforts to support the rescue and care of animals. Volunteers will help organize fundraising events and promote the organization through various channels.

Provide a temporary home for rescued animals until they are adopted. Volunteers are responsible for the daily care, feeding, and socialization of the animals. Must be able to transport animals to adoption events.

Assist with organizing and managing adoption events. Responsibilities include setting up event spaces, interacting with potential adopters, and providing information about the animals.

Assist with the daily care of horses, including feeding, grooming, and general maintenance of the facilities. Volunteers will also have the opportunity to learn about horse rehabilitation and the responsibilities of horse ownership.

Assist in wrapping gifts for children in foster care. This opportunity helps provide a Christmas for foster children who have been removed from their homes due to abuse and neglect.

Assist in distributing winter coats to those in need. Volunteers will help organize and distribute coats to ensure everyone stays warm during the winter season.

Assist in organizing and participating in community events aimed at raising awareness about suicide prevention. Volunteers may also help in distributing educational materials and providing support during workshops.

Assist in building a library collection of automotive literature by cataloging books, magazines, and technical manuals. Volunteers will help organize and maintain the museum's literature collection.

Work with staff on repairing and restoring museum-owned vehicles and displays. Volunteers will assist in preservation efforts to maintain the quality and history of the exhibits.

Help with fundraising efforts and increase awareness for the museum. Volunteers familiar with grant applications and funding searches are encouraged to assist.

Assist with building and improving the museum, including basic carpentry, electrical work, and cleaning displays and guest areas. Volunteers are needed to help maintain the museum's facilities.
