Harrison Fire Rescue is currently looking for dedicated individuals to volunteer with our team. Both our First Responders (Emergency Medical Responders) and Fire Fighters are hiring new members. Our First Responders are called to all medical emergencies and traumatic injuries including those resulting from vehicle accidents. Our Fire Fighters are called to all incidents involving fires and hazardous materials, and both our EMS and Fire teams respond for water rescues, cliff rescues, vehicle accident extrications, and any other area where advanced rescue and lifesaving skills are required. As a Donation Desk Attendant, you will assist with checking in donations and providing excellent customer service to donors. This role is available on Mondays from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

Sorters are responsible for sorting through donations and organizing clothing items for display. This position is flexible and can accommodate your schedule on Wednesdays, Thursdays, or Fridays from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

As a Clothing Hanger, you will assist in organizing and hanging clothing on racks, ensuring that items are displayed neatly for clients. This role requires lifting up to 35 pounds and standing for extended periods.

Help provide essential childcare services to families in need. Volunteers will assist with supervising children and engaging them in activities while their parents are occupied with other responsibilities.

Event Volunteers assist in the planning and execution of special events at the museum. Responsibilities include setting up, welcoming guests, and ensuring events run smoothly.

Collections Volunteers help in cataloging and preserving artifacts. This role involves working closely with museum staff to ensure the proper care and documentation of our collection.

As a Museum Docent, you will guide visitors through the museum, sharing the rich history and stories of Hearthstone. This role involves engaging with the public and providing educational information about our exhibits.

Provide confidential support and safety planning services to individuals in crisis. Volunteers will assist in answering helpline calls and offering guidance and resources to callers.

Assist in the daily operations of the 68-bed shelter facility, providing support to residents and helping with various tasks to ensure a safe and welcoming environment.
