As an Academic Tutor, you will play an essential role in a student's academic growth by working one-on-one with K-12 students to help them complete homework and improve their skills in reading and math. No prior experience is needed, and you are expected to commit to tutoring once per week or twice a month, Monday through Thursday from 4–6 pm.

Ensure access to clean and safe water for all residents through education and advocacy. Volunteers will participate in community workshops and outreach programs.

Support the operations of our East Palo Alto Community Farmers' Market by providing customer service, distributing incentive vouchers, and assisting with market setup and breakdown.

Help with academic and enrichment classroom support for our summer programs. This opportunity is open to rising High School Freshmen through Seniors who are 14 and older, requiring a commitment of a minimum of 3 weeks during the summer.

As a mentor, you will guide students through various technology-related projects and help them develop essential skills in coding, design, and innovation. This role involves working closely with students, providing support and encouragement as they learn and grow in their understanding of technology.

This is an ideal volunteer opportunity for individuals who have a passion for teaching others and are comfortable speaking in front of other adults. Volunteers do not need to be fluent in Spanish to teach or assist these classes, though some knowledge of Spanish is helpful.
