We are bringing back our Vintage Game Night after a long absence but we need volunteers to help us make it a success. This is a great opportunity for some young people to earn volunteer service hours whether you are in a school organization/club, community organization or Scouts. We have a beautiful collection of historic clothing that dates back to the late 1800's. Here is how you can help. We could use some supplies for Collections. Polyester quilt batting (not wool or cotton, not loose fiberfill) is needed to wrap padded hangers for the clothing collection. We could also use white or off-white sheets (cotton or cotton/polyester blend) or lengths of white or off-white woven fabric (cotton or cotton/polyester blend) - these we use to make garment bags and hanger covers. Dress in period costume and take students back in time with our curriculum that includes McGuffey Readers, spelling bees, recitation, and penmanship.
