We are also in need of Emergency Medical Responders. You can choose one, or both paths on your way to rewarding experiences. There are also several other opportunities to help our department, such as fundraising, participate in our Fired Up for Reading program, and fire prevention. We also accept help with washing fire trucks, performing inventory inspections, filing grant applications and other paperwork and forms. | Requirements: Must be at least 18 years old to enter a burning building, or 16 years old to start your training. We will provide in-house training and will sponsor addition training through the local technical college system. Deliver food pantry items to seniors who cannot easily leave their homes. Deliveries are made twice a month on Wednesday mornings. Substitute drivers are needed.
