Mentors for the Crossroads program work with fostered and adopted children and youth, helping them build meaningful relationships with horses and mentors. This trauma-informed program aims to reduce the effects of trauma and teach essential life skills.

Side-walkers assist riders during their lessons, providing support and ensuring safety. This role is crucial for the success of therapeutic riding sessions.

Assist with the care of horses, including grooming and leading horses during classes. Volunteers also help with general maintenance and upkeep of the facility. Training is provided on-site.

As a Trail Steward, you will work under the direction of park rangers to improve trails at PEEC and within the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area. This role involves meeting once a month from April to November, with free housing or camping provided.
