Task Volunteers help with various organizational tasks such as cleaning, organizing, or stuffing envelopes. They play a crucial role in maintaining the House's operations and ensuring a welcoming environment for families.

Family Room Volunteers welcome families into the room and orient them to the available services. They are essential in providing a comforting environment for families during their hospital visits.

Event Volunteers assist with fundraising events by helping with planning and on-site support. They contribute to the success of events that raise vital funds for the House.

Meal Volunteers prepare and serve warm meals to families staying at the House. Their efforts provide comfort and nourishment to families after long days at the hospital.

Desk Attendant Volunteers greet families upon arrival, assist with check-in and check-out processes, and provide tours of the House. They ensure families feel welcomed and supported during their stay.

Junior Volunteers, aged 12 to 17, assist with various tasks under the supervision of legal age volunteers. They help with duties similar to Task Volunteers and may assist Desk Attendants or Meal Volunteers.

Help maintain Bluebird Trails and nest boxes for various bird species. Volunteers repair, replace, and clean nest boxes, and monitor nesting activity throughout the season.

Assist with educational programs for youth at the Waterdale Environmental Education Center and other locations. Help spread awareness about birds and the natural world.

Participate in the cleanup of litter along Old Route 220 as part of the PA Department of Transportation’s Adopt-A-Highway program. Volunteers gather for fellowship after the cleanup.
