Join the effort to remove invasive plant species in grassland and wetland habitats at the Robert Porter Allen Natural Area. Volunteers work to protect the long-term ecological integrity of this 229-acre area.

Help maintain Bluebird Trails and nest boxes for various bird species. Volunteers repair, replace, and clean nest boxes, and monitor nesting activity throughout the season.

Assist with educational programs for youth at the Waterdale Environmental Education Center and other locations. Help spread awareness about birds and the natural world.

Participate in the cleanup of litter along Old Route 220 as part of the PA Department of Transportation’s Adopt-A-Highway program. Volunteers gather for fellowship after the cleanup.

Assist in maintaining the clay studio, helping members with hand-building and throwing techniques, and ensuring the studio is organized and clean. Volunteers should be passionate about clay arts and willing to engage with the community.

Help maintain the woodworking facility, assist members with projects, and ensure safety protocols are followed. Volunteers should have a passion for woodworking and a desire to foster skill development in others.
