Assist in researching the lives of farmers who lived in the historic Allen House during the 19th and early 20th centuries. This role requires research experience and initiative.

Join the gardening team to help maintain Fanny's Garden, growing plants that were historically raised on the site. Work can be scheduled at your own availability, and the team meets regularly.

Greeters will staff the Welcome Center desk, assisting with tasks such as running the cash register and explaining exhibits to visitors. A weekly shift commitment is required, making this a great opportunity for new volunteers.

Lead educational field trips for PreK-12th grade students, with training provided. The schedule is based on bookings, with the greatest need for availability from 9am-2pm M-F in May, June, September, and October.

As a volunteer tour guide, you will share Vermont's rich history with visitors while leading tours of the historic Allen House. Commitment to one weekly shift during the May through October season is required.
