Aid CWR in securing funding opportunities by exploring grants, making thank you calls to donors, and researching fundraising avenues. A specialized role for those interested in financial support activities.

Assist with transporting injured or orphaned animals to veterinary appointments, sanctuary, or release sites. Volunteers may be tagged for nearby animals in need via a dedicated Facebook group.

Promote and maintain CWR's online presence to maximize impact and reach. Use social media to promote activities, encourage engagement, and communicate effectively with diverse audiences.

Visit schools and community events to educate the public about wildlife, CWR's mission, and environmental awareness. Ideal for those studying environmental studies or interested in public speaking.

Assist with daily tasks at the farm, including feeding, cleaning, and caring for the horses. Volunteers are crucial to the daily operations and well-being of the horses at CERA.

Participate in a hands-on program for college students taking animal-related classes, gaining experience with horse grooming, basic ground manners, and handling difficult horses. Students will also learn from visiting professionals such as vets and farriers.

Volunteers are needed to help with meet and greet events at PETSMART Blakeney or other local events. Responsibilities include overseeing events, answering public questions, handling rescued animals, and assisting with event setup and cleanup.

Volunteers care for rescued cats temporarily staying in cat condos at PETSMART Blakeney. Duties include socializing with the cats, replenishing food and water, and cleaning litter boxes. Volunteers typically work once a week for 1 to 2 hours.

Volunteers are needed to help feed baby songbirds during the 2025 Baby Bird Season. Volunteers must be 16 years or older and commit to recurring shifts for the duration of the season.

Assist with various projects such as fixing fences, repairing hoses, and organizing spaces. Ideal for those who enjoy hands-on work and have organizational skills.

Assist with feeding baby songbirds, keeping cages clean, and light housekeeping. This is a seasonal position available from early April to early October, with flexible scheduling for 3-hour shifts daily.

Interact with resident animals by providing food and fresh water, collecting eggs, and herding birds into predator-proof enclosures. Volunteers may also clean cages of animals undergoing medical care. Shifts are available 7 days a week, with morning and evening options.

Support administrative tasks by greeting visitors, assisting with intakes, and maintaining cleanliness of public areas. Requires strong interpersonal and organizational skills.

Assist in the care and rehabilitation of rescued turtles, including feeding, cleaning enclosures, and monitoring health. Volunteers will work directly with turtles to ensure their well-being during recovery.
