Making the decision to become a volunteer firefighter should not be taken lightly. It requires hundreds of hours of training and a strong commitment to service. Inter-Canyon Vol Fire Dept
ICFPD is a volunteer department in the foothills of Jefferson County, just west of Denver, Colorado. ICFPD provides structural fire protection, wildland firefighting, and BLS/ALS EMS with transport. ICFPD responds to 450 calls per year, 65% EMS related. ICFPD has five stations, 15 emergency apparatus, and 40 volunteers to serve the community. Our new programs allow for volunteers who live outside the area and for fire or EMS volunteers.
