Rainbow Lakes Fire Department is an ALL volunteer fire department located in Dunnellon, Florida. It is a department of approximately 15 support and combat firefighters. Rainbow Lakes Estates has approximately 5000 residents in 15 square miles. All of our apparatus are up to date along with our equipment. Our newest truck is 2 years old and our oldest is 15 years old. Come be part of an up and coming department with fresh ideas, our Fire Chief is 32 years old and is also a Career Firefighter. Bring your experience and ideas into our department and help freshen things up. Looking for qualified firefighters who went to fire school and are not currently employed as a firefighter in the State of Florida. Who are willing to pull shifts to man the station 24/7. Our department currently does not pay any stipend or benefit to be in the department.
