Assist with the care of animals rescued from local animal control and homes. Responsibilities include feeding, cleaning, and providing general care to ensure the well-being of the animals.

Burnsville Fire and Rescue is a fire department where its members are dedicated to serving their community and the people in it. We are a small rural fire department that has become one of the best in this county as far as service that we provide to our community. We provide Firefighting, Rescue, Paramedic level ambulance, Swift water rescue, Wild land firefighting, just to name a few. We also have the biggest JR firefighter program in the county in which we are very proud. If you have what it takes to be a Volunteer Firefighter/EMT please come to the department on the first Tuesday of every month and see for your self. See us on Facebook!!! | Requirements: Persons that want to join and become a firefighter/EMT has to join the department by coming to three consecutive business meetings and on the third meeting we will vote as a fire department. JR Firefighters should be within the ages of 14-17. Adult members are 18 and up as long as they are within good physical shape. Members are required per our department by-laws that within 1 year all new members must be either certified or in a Firefighter/EMT certification class.
