District 3 FD is looking for people over the age of 18 to join their local volunteer FD. We have 5 community FD--Graphic, Turner, Chester, Locke and Mountainburg. We're looking for junior members who want to learn about both the volunteer and professional aspects of these fields. By joining us, you'll gain valuable volunteer hours and have numerous opportunities to advance your education through our specialized classes. We're also eager to connect with community-minded individuals who might not be interested in fire or medical calls but are still keen to contribute in other meaningful ways. Participate in local events to promote the organization's mission and engage with the community. Volunteers will help set up booths, distribute information, and interact with the public.

Assist in transporting dogs to veterinary appointments and adoption centers. Volunteers are needed to ensure safe and timely transport of animals to various locations.

Help organize and work at fundraising events to support the rescue operations. Volunteers will participate in planning, setting up, and managing events to raise funds for the organization.

Respond to all emergency 911 calls including fire calls, auto accidents, medical calls and all other emergencies. | Requirements: 18 years old, will train but must be willing and able to attend 16 hours per month for training. | Categories: EMT, Firefighter
