Volunteers will assist in delivering youth empowerment programs focused on training and mentorship. Responsibilities include mentoring youth, facilitating workshops, and supporting program activities to foster personal growth and social skills.

Volunteering for assisting during gymnastics programming. Promote Youth Development by providing and applying intentional coaching skills and techniques at each practice and every program. Assist with gymnastics classes while modeling and teaching program participants the qualities of the Y’s core character values of Caring, Respect, Responsibility, and Honesty. Develop positive relationships with gymnasts. Ability to communicate clearly and precisely with children, families, staff, and members. Assist in developing and appropriately adapting a weekly practice structure and program curriculum. Ensure that program standards are met and safety procedures are followed. Assist in the retention of existing members and engagement of new members by being knowledgeable of Gymnastics programming. Performs other duties as assigned.

Assist in reducing hunger and food insecurity in the Twin Counties by delivering food to those in need. This role involves working with local community partners to deliver food items effectively and compassionately.

Love children? Help us make their time at the Y engaging and fun. Read stories, assist with arts and crafts, play games, and provide quality, enriching care for children ages 3 to 12 years old. A staff member will always be in Child Watch with you and you will have no diaper or restroom responsibilities. Behavior issues will only be addressed by staff. Assist with cleaning and fixing items that were salvaged or donated. Help with store merchandising, maintenance, and appointments. Participate in salvage or clean-up days.

Help with social media posts and marketing efforts to promote the organization's mission and events. Engage with the community online to increase awareness and participation.

Assist in planning and organizing events to support the organization's mission. Work with the team to coordinate logistics and ensure successful execution of events.

Volunteer with Circle of Friends to assist with programs, fundraisers, advocacy efforts, and administrative duties. This opportunity is ideal for individuals or groups looking to make a difference and for college students seeking internships.

Help support local county EMS System with EMS coverage for parts of Wilson County. Responding at the EMT-Basic level and laid out protocals issued from Wilson County EMS. We also provides ems coverage for many sporting events in and around Wilson Coutny. (High School football, Southern National Motorsports Park, Buckhorn Boat Racing, Monter Trucks, and many more.) | Requirements: North Carolina State EMT-Basic, AHA BLS Provider.
