The Canada Geese Officer registers with the State of NH to manage goose nesting around Thorndike Pond. The officer monitors shorelines for nesting and works with property owners to manage nests according to state guidelines.

Volunteer Lake Hosts help ensure the quality of Thorndike Pond by inspecting boats and educating boaters about invasive species. Volunteers can choose their working hours and use the Lake Host app to report their activities.

Weed Watchers patrol the shoreline of Thorndike Pond to identify and report any invasive plant species. Each volunteer is assigned a section of the shoreline to monitor at least once a month.

Program Volunteers play a fundamental role in conducting safe horsemanship lessons and creating a safe environment for individuals to thrive. Horse experience is not required; Freedom Reins will provide the training.
