Volunteers will work with elementary students (3rd-4th grade) in garden work, eco-art projects, and other outdoor activities. Responsibilities include small group instruction, assistance with preparation and cleanup, and attending one 2-hour session each Wednesday.

Volunteers assist Garden Educators with tasks like pest control, fertilizing, and construction/repair of garden structures. Ideal for those with gardening, farming, or handyman skills. Time commitment is flexible based on volunteer skills and garden needs.

Volunteers are needed to help open and close structures, perform minimal watering, and trim plants of old leaves on weekends. This role significantly eases the burden on the work team and requires reliability and basic gardening skills.

Support the annual Glow Run event by assisting with registration, setup, and providing information to participants. Volunteers will help ensure a smooth event experience and promote awareness about melanoma.

Participate in prep days to help prepare food items for distribution. Volunteers are essential to ensuring that food is ready for distribution days.

Assist in distributing food to guests on the second and fourth Saturday of each month from 10 AM to 2 PM. Volunteers will meet other volunteers and help fill orders for guests.

Firefighters respond to fire and rescue emergency incidents independently or under direction of department officers. Firefighters with First Responder (EMR) training also respond to medical emergencies. Department personnel are responsible for meeting training attendance requirements and all personnel assist in maintaining stations, apparatus, and equipment in a ready state. | Requirements: Applicants must pass a background check and interview process to join the department. After joining members must complete basic training requirements prior to responding to incidents, and a 6-month probationary period to be cleared for full duty. Assist in distributing and refilling sunscreen dispensers at local schools, parks, and pools to help prevent skin cancer in the community. Volunteers will also help in educating the public about the importance of sun protection.

Volunteers are needed to assist with the rescue and care of German Shepherds who have been surrendered or legally abandoned. Responsibilities may include helping with events, administrative tasks, or direct care of the dogs.

Contribute your time, passion, and expertise to support the mission of preventing sexual violence through education, awareness, and community engagement. Volunteers will work alongside the foundation to empower and uplift others.
