PAID CALL FIRE FIGHTER The City of Washington Court House, Ohio is accepting applications for the position of Paid Call Fire Fighter. This is a paid per call (volunteer) position with no benefits. Starting hourly range of $12.00 - $14.00 per hour based on certification level. This is a non-union position. Description of Duties: Under general supervision, controls and extinguishes fires to protect life and property; responds to emergencies and may provide emergency medical treatment (BLS) as directed; Operates generators, chainsaws, rescue tools and other related equipment. Other duties as required. | Requirements: Must pass a background check, drug screen, physical exam, interview and an agility test provided by the fire department. Must be able to clearly communicate, verbally as well as written.
