As a CASA volunteer, you will stand beside one child and advocate for their best interests in court. Volunteers are trained to visit the child monthly, communicate with caregivers, and submit clear recommendations to the judge, committing about 8 to 10 hours a month.

Provide a warm and loving environment for a dog, helping transform its personality and prepare it for adoption. Fostering a dog also frees up space in overcrowded shelters, lowering euthanasia rates.

Participate in fundraisers and community events to help raise funds and awareness about shelter issues, and to promote adoption opportunities.

Assist in transporting dogs to the vet or to their new homes, often out of state, to help them on their journey to a forever home.
