HOPE-FULL KIDS provides meals for students during school breaks including Christmas, Winter and Spring Break, as well as the Summer months when students are not in school. Volunteers help with the distribution of these meals.

Assist with the distribution of kosher food to the Jewish Community throughout Westchester. This service is provided twice a month on Thursdays.

The Food Pantry is open to residents of New Rochelle who meet certain criteria based upon number in household and income. Registration is required and is offered at the pantry food distributions. Volunteering involves helping with the distribution of food.

We serve dinner to anyone in need, no questions asked, in our communal social dining room Monday to Friday. Volunteering begins with setup at 4:30 pm and ends after clean up at 6:00 pm.

Assist with the distribution of food from our mobile pantry. This service is provided on alternating Wednesdays from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

As a Friendly Visitor, you will spend time with our senior residents, providing companionship and emotional support. This role is crucial in helping our residents feel connected and valued.

As a Tech Buddy, you will assist residents with using technology, such as smartphones, tablets, and computers. This role helps bridge the digital divide and keeps our seniors connected with their loved ones.

Assist with event setup, breakdown, and registration for various events. Volunteers should be organized and able to work in a team environment.

Assist in the Cooney College Center, providing guidance and support to students as they prepare for college applications and financial aid processes.

Assist with various STEM events such as STEM-tastic, MHS Talks, and Tinkering Nights. Responsibilities include event setup, engaging with participants, and supporting event activities.

Support the organization with administrative tasks such as grant writing and donor growth. This role is crucial for maintaining the operational efficiency of the organization.

Partner with college students and graduates to provide support and advice through the demanding college years. Training for mentors is provided to ensure effective guidance.

Volunteers provide academic tutoring to Student Athletes, helping them succeed in their studies and prepare for college. This role involves one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions.

Work alongside educators teaching after-school programs, assist at a Tinkering Night or help with special projects such as social media and fundraising. We provide letters of acknowledgement for volunteer hours.

Volunteers help to prepare various activities in the After School Program. Responsibilities include setup, clean-up, and assisting in events.

Volunteers assist in the Summer Day Camp Program by preparing activities, setting up, cleaning up, and helping with events.

The Conservancy is always looking for behind-the-scenes administrative and organizational support in a number of areas.

Assist in tutoring and mentoring children to support their academic growth and personal development. Volunteers will work closely with children to provide guidance and educational support.
