We have 50 active members, all volunteers. The Norfolk Fire Department provides structural fire suppression, wildland fire suppression, rescue ops, and we offer a fire prevention program to the residents of the Town of Norfolk. We operate out of 3 stations and respond to approximately 140-150 calls per year. We provide opportunity for junior members and are actively recruiting for members across our entire community.

The HIAS NY Legal and Asylum Volunteer Program aims to provide HIAS clients with holistic, wraparound services by facilitating one-on-one partnerships between our clients and volunteer mentors in the New York tristate area. Volunteer opportunities include various types of mentorship, cultural orientation programming, ESL and English conversation support, interpretation and translation services, and accompaniment opportunities.

Provide one-on-one support or facilitate small groups to help individuals transition to a plant-powered lifestyle. Mentors share their personal experiences and guide others in maintaining a whole food, plant-based diet.
