Volunteers are needed to help with duties in and around the cat cabins, and to interact with the cats by petting them, playing with them, grooming them, and generally giving them the attention they crave. Volunteers must be at least 18 years old.

Join the Project Homeless Apollo Street Team to provide food, vaccines, deworming, spay/neuter, and medical emergency assistance to dogs and cats in homeless camps around Fort Worth. Volunteers respond to needs as they arise.

Take dogs on walks, help with laundry and cleaning, photograph dogs, or assist with small projects at the facility. Volunteers play a crucial role in maintaining the facility and ensuring the well-being of the animals.

Update Petfinder profiles, create marketing materials, or help with social media to spread the word about adoptable pets. Volunteers help increase the visibility of the animals and the organization.

Handle dogs and cats at adoption events, take photos, or help plan those events to find forever homes for our animals. Volunteers help ensure successful adoption events and promote animals for adoption.

Assist in the daily care and rehabilitation of rescue animals, ensuring they are fed, groomed, and provided with a safe environment. Volunteers will also help in maintaining the sanctuary facilities.

Certified professional dog trainers and animal behaviorists can provide seminars in their area of expertise at IDEA Service Dogs' classroom.

Assist in classroom setup, manage audio-visual equipment, and provide support to students with disabilities. Volunteers may also handle dogs and interface with the facility.

Coordinate field trip logistics, including location selection and prop staging. Volunteers will also handle dogs and assist with photography and video documentation.

Assist with social media management and marketing efforts to promote IDEA Service Dogs. Volunteers may also help with veterinary care or provide discounted professional services.

Blue Mound Fire Department is currently accepting applications to test for volunteer firefighters. Must be able to commit to Tuesday night and occasional weekend training. Applications must be picked up and dropped off in person at Blue Mound Fire Department. Questions? Volunteer as a tutor to provide virtual academic support to K-12 students in various subjects. Volunteers are required to commit to at least one hour per week and will receive comprehensive training, making it accessible even for those without prior tutoring experience.

Serve as a volunteer coach-mentor to youth, making a positive difference in their lives through sports. Responsibilities include coaching, mentoring, and supporting youth in various sports activities.

Assist with the daily care and maintenance of animals at the sanctuary, including feeding, cleaning, and providing enrichment activities. Volunteers will also help with rehabilitation efforts and support the rehoming process.

Volunteers are responsible for cleaning pastures, grooming and fly spraying horses, restocking supplies, and cleaning tack. Those with appropriate horse experience may walk or exercise horses. Volunteers also assist with event setup and other tasks.

Volunteers are needed to cut masks from material, sew masks together, and donate materials such as elastic, 100% cotton fabric, bias tape, ribbon, and pipe cleaners. Volunteers can also help deliver and package masks to those in need.

As an AIR Responder, you will provide relief and safety to animals in large-scale cruelty situations or disasters. Responsibilities include animal intake, transport, emergency sheltering, and providing veterinary support. Volunteers must be 18 years or older and attend a Responder Orientation.

Help out in the DF2FM offices with various administrative tasks. Volunteers will support the organization's daily operations and assist with office duties.

Organize pet food drives in local schools, churches, and scout groups. Volunteers will coordinate with community groups to collect pet food donations for distribution.

Work at local events in the greater Fort Worth area to educate the public about the mission of DF2FM. Volunteers will engage with the community to spread awareness and support for pet food insecurity.

Assist in bagging pet food in the warehouse for distribution. Volunteers will help prepare pet food for delivery to those in need.

Pick up donations at local donation sites and deliver them to the DF2FM warehouse. Volunteers will help ensure that pet food donations are collected and distributed efficiently.

The Event Coordinator will be responsible for planning and organizing all facets of WOD events and activities, coordinating fundraising efforts, supply drives, and special programs. This includes securing locations, organizing participants, notifying audiences, and providing on-site assistance.

Assist in organizing and executing Fort Worth Abroad's annual events. Volunteers will help with event setup, coordination, and ensuring a smooth experience for attendees. Passion for supporting Fort Worth and eager students is essential.
