Assist in a hands-on educational event that immerses 6th-grade students in forest ecosystems, conservation, and natural resource management. Volunteers will help facilitate interactive stations covering topics such as wildlife, fire ecology, hydrology, and sustainable forestry, fostering a deeper appreciation for nature among students.

South Pend Oreille Fire & Rescue is currently in need of volunteer Fire Fighters. We are in great need of people who want to train to become EMT’s and/or people who would like to become firefighters. Volunteers are essential to our success as an emergency services agency. We are looking for people who are willing to receive in-depth training to become a professional in the volunteer field. These men and women will work on a frequent basis with our existing team of volunteers, and will respond on every type of alarm our District receives.
