Volunteers at Friendship Circle experience a strong sense of community and friendship by forming meaningful connections and developing valuable skills. They contribute to enriching the lives of individuals with special needs through various programs and activities.

Volunteers are needed every Friday morning to prepare donated books at Bucks County Community College – Newtown Campus. Tasks include sorting, picking up, and transporting books.

Provide a temporary home for cats, kittens, or dogs, offering them a safe place to stay while they await adoption. Fosters help animals transition from the shelter to their forever homes.

Assist with feeding and cleaning areas for cats and kittens at the rescue. Volunteers will also have the opportunity to cuddle and play with the cats to help socialize them for adoption.

Trail Stewards meet monthly at the Park’s Nature Center to clear trails, remove brush, and construct water bars and other trail necessities. Volunteers often meet for lunch afterwards, courtesy of the WCPA.
