Join Lord and Angell House as a Destiny Helper to support women survivors of domestic violence. Volunteers will use their unique skills, knowledge, and resources to uplift these women and create lasting change. This role involves mentoring, providing technical support, or offering creative solutions to empower women on their journey to independence.

Volunteers assist in various activities to support families affected by cancer, including organizing events, distributing gifts, and providing emotional support. Volunteers are integral to the mission of bringing holiday cheer and relief to these families.

The Garden Homes Fire Protection District is one of the last 100% volunteer fire departments left in Cook County. We are charged with providing Fire and EMS services for the Garden Homes community, as well as the towns of Merrionette Park and Robbins through automatic aid agreements, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year.
