Support rescue pets by helping with sales, restocking, displays, and greeting customers at the ASTRO Thrift & Gift Shop. This role is available Tuesday–Saturday from 10:00 AM–5:00 PM, with two-hour shifts or longer between 9:30 AM–5:30 PM.

Transport cats and dogs to veterinary appointments, requiring a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle. Shifts are on Thursdays from 6:30–7:30 AM and/or 3:00–4:00 PM, with additional shifts as needed. Mileage reimbursement is available.

Assist in cleaning and resetting adoptable cat kennels by replacing bedding, sanitizing surfaces, refreshing food and water, and giving the cats some love. This role requires two volunteers daily from 9:00–11:00 AM.

Provide enrichment for dogs through walking, play, and socialization, helping them stay happy, healthy, and ready for adoption. Shifts are flexible between 11:30 AM–1:30 PM and 3:00–5:00 PM.

Help tidy and reset the community cat room each morning by cleaning litter boxes, refreshing food and water, and creating a calm, clean space for our feline guests. This role requires one volunteer daily from 9:00–10:00 AM.

Join our active and loving parent support group to help provide guidance and resources to families with special needs children. Volunteers will assist in organizing meetings and facilitating discussions among parents and caregivers.

As a hospice volunteer, you will provide companionship and emotional support to patients and families during end-of-life care. Responsibilities include sitting with patients, reading aloud, and assisting family caregivers by offering respite care.

Join AFSP as a Community Volunteer to help raise awareness and funds for suicide prevention. Volunteers will assist in organizing events, educating the public, and supporting those affected by suicide.

Coordinate the distribution and upkeep of uniforms for choir members.

Work to secure donations, grants, and general funding to support the chorus's activities.

Volunteers will engage in programs and projects aimed at empowering community members to become agents of change. Responsibilities include organizing and participating in educational and supply distribution events, and promoting social justice and sustainability.

Coordinate lobby receptions before and after concerts to ensure a welcoming environment.

Assist with clerical work and organize physical music materials for the chorus.

Arrange social activities for chorus members to foster community and camaraderie.

Assist with managing and supervising singers during concert settings.

Review and assess scholarship applications to support deserving chorus members.

Coordinate facilities and communicate with on-site teams to ensure smooth operations.

Attend rehearsals and provide assistance as needed to support the choir and its members.

Assist with student registration and respond to inquiries from parents and members.
