Please help us to continue helping YOU! | Requirements: Interior Firefighters are requires to attend a 120 hour initial training to Firefighter I level. You must pass an annual physical and mask test, attend regularly scheduled training, and able to lift 50lbs and drag 100lbs. EMT's must pass a basic course of 160 hours that include ambulance ride time, ER triage hours, and regularly scheduled in house training and State required refresher. Driver/Pump Operators must have drivers license and a good mechanical aptitude. General Firefighters perform various exterior operations such as establishing water supply sites, equipment and station maintenance, and general minor operations outside of structural firefighting. ALL must be willing to attend required trainings, meetings, and respond to the alarm 24/7 when available.
