The Osseo (MN) Fire Department is seeking individuals willing to get trained and equipped to serve their community in the event of a fire, medical emergency, hazardous materials incident, or other emergency. You will be joining a group of dedicated individuals who are passionate about serving their neighbors. We train to national and state standards of firefighting and emergency medical response. We respond from home or work to emergency calls ranging from heart attacks, to car accidents, to raging fires. We conduct ongoing training to refresh, expand, and hone our skills. We get to participate in a range of community events and serve as ambassadors or the city and role models for kids. Participate in community outreach programs to promote the arts and engage with the local community. Volunteers will help organize events and activities that encourage community participation in the arts.

Assist with setting up racks and tables, sorting and organizing clothing, and greeting attendees during clothing swap events. Volunteers help ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all participants.

Volunteers help pack various food items at the Brooklyn Park, Minnesota food bank. This role involves sorting and packing food to be distributed to those in need.

Use your professional expertise to help various departments add capacity, expand skillsets, and work efficiently. This role involves working on strategic projects to support the food bank's mission.
