The one-year Fire Cadet program is an unpaid, volunteer work experience that offers hands-on training, and introductory knowledge of firefighting skills, fire service tools and equipment. Support the annual Summer Camp Program for children experiencing homelessness by volunteering as a student volunteer or providing in-kind donations. This role ensures a summer of fun and learning for the kids.

Host donation drives for LifeMoves to collect much-needed items such as gift cards, business clothing, school supplies, bedding, and toiletries. This opportunity allows you to engage your community in supporting those experiencing homelessness.

As a volunteer, you will provide nutritious meals to LifeMoves clients across Santa Clara County and San Mateo County. This role involves serving meals with compassion and care to those in need.

The Program Chairperson is responsible for securing speakers for monthly meetings, maintaining contact with them, and ensuring all necessary arrangements are made. They also introduce speakers at meetings and help advertise events on social media.

At Large Board Members participate in the governance of the organization, contributing to decision-making and strategic planning. They engage in various activities to support the organization's mission.

Field Trips Committee Members organize and lead birdwatching trips, ensuring participants have a safe and educational experience. They coordinate logistics and promote the trips to the community.

Education Committee Members develop and implement educational programs and initiatives to promote awareness and understanding of bird conservation. They work collaboratively to engage the community in educational activities.

Volunteers at the Mission Blue Nursery can choose from various activities to support the nursery's operations. Each spot can be reserved for individuals or small groups, allowing volunteers to experience different aspects of nursery work.

Volunteers are needed to commit to a weekly, three-hour shift at the Burlingame location to help provide groceries to those in need. Volunteers must be able to lift and carry up to ten pounds.
