Participate in a hands-on program for college students taking animal-related classes, gaining experience with horse grooming, basic ground manners, and handling difficult horses. Students will also learn from visiting professionals such as vets and farriers.

Assist with daily tasks at the farm, including feeding, cleaning, and caring for the horses. Volunteers are crucial to the daily operations and well-being of the horses at CERA.

Assist with transporting injured or orphaned animals to veterinary appointments, sanctuary, or release sites. Volunteers may be tagged for nearby animals in need via a dedicated Facebook group.

Aid CWR in securing funding opportunities by exploring grants, making thank you calls to donors, and researching fundraising avenues. A specialized role for those interested in financial support activities.

Promote and maintain CWR's online presence to maximize impact and reach. Use social media to promote activities, encourage engagement, and communicate effectively with diverse audiences.

Provide assistance to finders of orphaned and injured animals from home. Volunteers arrange referrals, provide wildlife advice, and organize transport to CWR. Requires a computer and internet connection.

Visit schools and community events to educate the public about wildlife, CWR's mission, and environmental awareness. Ideal for those studying environmental studies or interested in public speaking.

Volunteer administrative assistant needed to handle various reports and office work for the department. Help to prepare the minutes of fire department meetings on a monthly basis. Keep track of equipment inventory and provide reports when requested. Assist in organizing and participating in community events aimed at strengthening parent-child relationships. Volunteers will help facilitate workshops and activities that encourage family bonding and problem-solving skills.

Help manage front of house activities including ushering, box office, concessions sales, hanging posters, answering phones, and assisting with mailings.

Assist with various backstage roles such as costumes, sewing, props, set construction, set painting, stage management, and running crew. Volunteers may also operate lights and sound equipment.
