Assist in organizing events for the Hershey Area Art Association, including setting up and hanging art, and locating and organizing show venues. Volunteers are essential to our operations and help us bring art to the community.

Provide transportation for cats to and from vet appointments, foster homes, and adoption events. Volunteers must have a valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle.

The Hershey Volunteer Fire Company, in an initiative to recruit and retain members, and in an effort to reduce response times and improve public safety, will provide facilities for approved candidates to live and sleep in the fire station. In exchange for free room and board, the live-in members will provide services to the fire company. We are seeking Live-In Firefighters. Our department averages 450 calls annually. We operate 3 engines and a heavy rescue out of 3 stations. A shared bunk room, and semi private rooms are available. Both male and female applicants are welcome, with separate facilities for both. A well maintained kitchen and dayroom are also available. Company level training is provided on a weekly basis. There are no fundraising requirements. | Requirements: Prior firefighting training is helpful but not required. Hazmat Awareness, NIMS 100,200,700, and 800, and CPR/AED certification are required within 2 months of acceptance into the program.
