Pendleton Fire & Ambulance career firefighter/paramedics are supplemented by a highly trained staff of reserve firefighters. The department has up to 20 reserve firefighter positions at any time and seeks to fill vacancies annually. Reserve firefighters are paid an hourly wage and respond as needed to fires and other emergencies.
