Hope Fire Company is an ALL volunteer fire company located in Philipsburg. We are a fire and rescue service that covers parts of Centre and Clearfield Counties in central Pennsylvania. On average, we run approximately 360 incidents per year. The fire company is always looking for new members to join the organization. From people willing to take the necessary training to become and active volunteer firefighter, to individuals willing to help with fundraisers and other station functions, to men and women able to assist with the business side of the fire company. Help distribute food to families in need and assist with organizing food donations at the pantry.

Assist in organizing and selling merchandise at the thrift store. All proceeds support the ministry's various programs.

Volunteers are needed to help plant, care for, and harvest vegetables, herbs, and fruits in the community gardens. These efforts support the food pantry, soup kitchen, and community volunteers.

As the chair, you will lead the efforts to raise awareness of the opportunities within the department, streamline the application process, improve the onboarding activities, and develop strategies for retaining both first responder and support people. This position would also play a key role in establishing a potential live-in program for college students. Assist in the rescue and transport of sick, injured, and orphaned wildlife to licensed rehabilitation centers. Volunteers are on call to drive animals to facilities for care.
