Firefighting doesn't have to be just fire. There's a place for everyone in our organization, and we are accepting of ideas and contributions. You must have a passion for helping others. You do not have to come in with any fire or medical experience. We want to help you get there. We have free training to offer our volunteers such as all fire classes and medical responder classes. Volunteers at the Indie Craft Parade assist with welcoming and checking in attendees, handing out admission stickers, providing short-term booth relief for artists, and helping guests navigate the event. Volunteers are essential in supporting artists and connecting with Greenville’s creative community.

Join KOBA for the 2nd Saturday PickUps to help clean up litter in Oconee County. Volunteers will meet at the Food Lion parking lot at the corner of Hwy 123 and Old Clemson Highway at 9 AM. KOBA provides bags, safety vests, and other supplies for the two-hour cleanup.

Join KOBA's Adopt-A-Spot program to clean and beautify specific areas of concern in Oconee County, such as city parks and parking lots. Volunteers work with KOBA and local authorities to maintain these sites.

Participate in the Adopt-A-Highway program by adopting a section of highway for a minimum of two years and conducting cleanups at least twice a year. KOBA provides safety training and supplies such as safety vests and trash bags.

Assist in transporting rescue kittens to various locations for adoption events or medical appointments. Volunteers will ensure the safe and timely delivery of kittens to their destinations.
