The Richland Township Fire Department is seeking volunteers to become firefighters and Emergency Medical Responders (EMR). No experience necessary. Equipment and training provided. We are an all-volunteer department established in 1948 protecting 73 square miles of Richland Township, Etna-Troy Township, and the town of Larwill, and it's approximately 4,070 citizens on the west side of Whitley County, Indiana. We responded to 153 calls for service in 2024. | Requirements: 16-19 years of age and still in school for our Cadet Program. 18 years or older for regular membership. Must reside in Richland or Etna-Troy Township, Whitley County, Indiana. Certification as Firefighter I/II and/or Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) within one year of appointment if not already certified. 6-month minimum probationary period if already certified, otherwise probationary period for 1 year. | Categories: Firefighter, EMT

Assist in cleaning and sprucing up Rudy's Dog Park to ensure it remains a welcoming environment for dogs and their owners. Volunteers should be prepared for physical activity and enjoy working outdoors.

Help man the booth at First Fridays in downtown Warsaw, engaging with the community and promoting Rudy's Dog Park. Volunteers should be enthusiastic and able to communicate effectively.

Assist at special events such as 'Dogtoberfest' and 'Dash for the Dogs', helping with event setup, management, and participant engagement. Volunteers should be organized and enjoy working in a dynamic environment.

Volunteer to man the booth at the BAKFC Home & Outdoor Show, providing information about Rudy's Dog Park and engaging with attendees. Volunteers should be friendly and willing to share information about the park.

We are looking for people who are wanting to join or have already joined the fire service, no experience necessary we will send you to the classes that are required.
