The Plymouth Township Fire Department serves a community of around 2,000 residents over 22.4 square miles. The area geography consists of a rural and suburban landscape as well as 11 miles of interstate and state highways. The department responds to approximately 450-500 calls per year. We also have Special Teams opportunities. Our EMTs receive a biweekly incentive of $20 per call (7am-11pm) and $30 per night call (11pm-7am) for responding to emergencies. Our EMTs also get a $20 per Department training attended, Uniform allowance, paid CE website to maintain certification. Assist with brushing horses, mucking the pasture, feeding horses, stuffing hay nets, moving hay bales, and general maintenance tasks around the property. Horse experience is useful but not necessary.
