Provide a temporary home for a Rottweiler until a permanent home is found. Foster homes offer love and shelter while SSRR covers all medical needs for the dog.

Assist in transporting Rottweilers to foster homes, veterinary appointments, or adoptive homes. Volunteers must have a valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle.

Conduct home visits to ensure potential adopters meet the requirements for adopting a Rottweiler. Volunteers will assess the home environment and provide feedback to SSRR.

Assist in various activities to support foster children and families in Jefferson County. Responsibilities may include organizing events, providing administrative support, and spreading awareness about foster care needs.

You will learn all areas of fighting wild fires, structure fires, auto fires, as well as emergency first aid and the latest in search and recovery techniques.
