The Tonkawa Tribe of Oklahoma is looking to recruit several new volunteers for our volunteer fire department. Fort Oakland is a small tribal community 3.6 miles away from the nearest town. In an emergency, time is of the essence and the 8 minutes it takes the nearest emergency response team is crucial. Join our team to bring peace of mind to our local tribal members and assist our local law enforcement in keeping our community safe. Be a part of a new tradition for our future generations to look up to. No Experience Is Necessary. Earn certifications with us. Tuition, training and gear is provided at no cost to you.
