Work in the Food Pantry by being a shopper. Help select items for families who visit the food pantry and load the food boxes into their vehicles. Volunteers also sort through food items for quality assurance and help bag fresh produce.

Work in the thrift store by sorting and pricing items. Help keep shelves updated with new merchandise and work with thrift store staff to maintain a professional and comfortable store environment.

Assist in organizing and managing the Autism Walk event. Responsibilities include setting up event spaces, guiding participants, and ensuring the event runs smoothly.

Join us for outdoor projects geared toward environmental stewardship including invasive species removal, litter removal, and new trail management. Volunteers will work with the land to maintain and improve the natural environment at the Johnson Nature Center.

Help keep the enchantment alive by guiding guests, supporting vendors, bringing whimsy to activity tables and trails, and ensuring a smooth clean-up as the magic winds down. Your time makes the magic happen!

Make a difference by planting trees and growing communities. Volunteers will plant 25 trees as part of a program to reestablish and expand the sugar bush at the nature center. ReLeaf Michigan’s tree experts will guide volunteers on how to plant a tree.
