Thiensville Fire Department is looking for paid-on-call Firefighter/EMT-B or Paramedics. The department is located in a small northern suburb of Milwaukee and averages between 600 and 800 calls for service per year. Although small in geographic region the department is very progressive in its' operation and training. The department provides Paramedic level EMS, Fire Suppression, Dive Rescue, Fire Prevention and Education services. The Fillmore Fire Department is an all volunteer department. We are currently seeking Firefighters and Emergency Medical Responders. Members also assist in a variety of fund raisers throughout the year. | Requirements: Firefighter training consists of 100 hours of training through the local technical college. In house training is conducted on the third and fourth Monday nights of the month. Emergency Medical Responder training consists of 64 hours of training through the local technical college. The Random Lake Fire Department is currently looking for motivated individuals that have strong interests in becoming firefighters and EMT’s. We currently have a roster with 55 dedicated members that are skillfully trained to serve our community. Our fleet is comprised of one engine, ladder, jaws truck, grass truck, Utv, boat, tender, rescue squad, two ambulances, and a SUV. In 2023 our fire department responded to approximately 50 calls and our ambulance responded to approximately 338 calls. Our call volume has been steadily rising and the need for staffing has risen. You are invited to sort and organize shoes with us (SOS)! This is a hands-on 2-hour volunteer event that you don’t want to miss! You will have an important role in supporting the SFJ mission through the final stages of preparing the shipment for Africa, while gaining first-hand insight into the operations of the organization.

Assist in providing art therapy services to individuals and groups under the supervision of licensed professionals. Responsibilities include setting up art materials, supporting clients during sessions, and helping with community outreach programs.

Support participants in our programs for adults and youth with disabilities. Volunteers help participants board/deboard buses, assist program leaders, and ensure participants are present and engaged.

Help us get our garden beds in shape for the season. Our gardens are used as educational tools for Gan Ami students and produce grown is donated to the Jewish Community Pantry.

Join us for our Saturday Serve Days where volunteers work on projects such as painting, staining, landscaping, and fence-building on our neighbors’ homes. All skill levels are welcome, and lunch will be provided.
