We are a small department located in Stowe, Pennsylvania, which is adjacent to the Borough of Pottstown. We service 3 municipalities in 2 counties as parts of our first due run area. West Pottsgrove Township, Portions of Pottstown Borough, and portions of Douglass Township Berks County. Our department has 4 pieces of apparatus to service these municipalities which are, a Tanker, an Engine, a Squad (light rescue truck) and a Fire Police unit. We are always open to accepting applications of current firefighters that would like to volunteer to help our department, or, if fighting fires isn't for you, we have positions open to drive the apparatus, or be a member of the support staff! If you are new to volunteer firefighting and would like to learn, we offer in house training and, provide access to the fire academy at no cost to you! We have many positions available and are willing to train the right person.
