The Ramsey Rescue Squad is an independent heavy rescue squad which continuously strives to be on the forefront of the emergency rescue industry, whether competing in extrication competitions (in order to fine tune extrication skills), offering Technical Rescue and/or Haz-Mat Technician level training for its members as well as to the mutual aid, and expecting a higher level of initial training for all members via an internal squad “Level One” training program (instructing all new members in fire fighting, extrication, Haz-Mat, etc.). Prepare the pantry for the upcoming day by restocking shelves, setting up tables and chairs, and storing new produce or perishable items. This role is essential for daily operations.

Assist with unloading, unpacking, and stocking nonperishable, frozen, and other items. This is a physically demanding role requiring volunteers to be at least 18 years old.

Assist clients as they shop, offer help with food items, and guide them through the pantry. Volunteers with a welcoming and patient disposition are desired.

Greet incoming clients, log each client family into the computer system, assist new clients with paperwork, and book appointments. This role requires separate training.

Assist clients by carrying packages from the pantry to their cars. This role requires lifting heavy packages and working in pairs.
