Transport animals to vet appointments, adoption events, or between foster and forever homes. Ensure safe and timely transportation for all animals in your care.

Research and apply for grants to secure funding for the organization's initiatives. Develop proposals that align with the organization's mission and goals.

In this role, you will help maintain the organization's online presence by writing updates on adopted dogs, managing listings of adoptable dogs, and planning social media posts. Experience with Shopify, Meta Business Suite, and Canva is a plus.

Help transport cats to vet appointments, foster homes, and adoption events. This role is crucial for ensuring our cats receive the care they need and helps facilitate their journey to forever homes.

Home Inspections Volunteers visit potential foster or adopter homes to ensure they are suitable for owning a Weimaraner. This role is essential for maintaining the welfare of the dogs in the program.

Community Events Volunteers represent SoCal Weim Rescue at local events, helping to raise awareness and support for the organization. This role involves engaging with the public and promoting the mission of the rescue.

As a Dog Evaluations Volunteer, you will visit surrendering homes or shelters to assess the sociability and health of incoming dogs. Experience in dog training or behavior, especially with Weimaraners, is preferred for this role.

As a Foster Care Volunteer, you will open your home to a dog in need, assisting with evaluation, care, and preparation for adoption. All food, supplies, and veterinary care are provided by the organization, allowing you to focus on helping the dog find its forever home.

Transport Volunteers are responsible for moving dogs between shelters, foster homes, and vet appointments. This role is crucial in ensuring that dogs receive the care they need and helps facilitate their journey to adoptive homes.

Help kittens get adopted by volunteering at our pet adoption events. Responsibilities include interacting with potential adopters and assisting with the adoption process. No prior experience is necessary, just a love for animals!

Volunteers power Unidos programming by participating in various community initiatives. Whether you can give a day once a year or an hour every week, your involvement will help strengthen the neighborhood and support local residents.

Help transport animals to and from adoption events and veterinary appointments. A current driver's license is required for this role.

Assist with our GO2 Bike Clinic held every 2nd Saturday from 10am to 2pm. Volunteers will help participants learn how to ride bikes and navigate local roads safely.

Join the El Plastiki Crew for a monthly trash removal event on the 2nd Saturday of each month from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm. Volunteers will help clean up local areas and promote environmental awareness.
