We are looking for individuals interested in serving the community as a volunteer firefighter. We average just over 100 total calls a year with a wide variety from structure fires, grass fires to down power lines and medical calls. We cover roughly 80 square miles in Eastern Franklin County with our fire station based in Rantoul. As well as provide mutual aid to multiple surrounding fire departments such as Pottawatomie Township (Lane), Ohio Township (Princeton), LOH Fire District, Wellsville Fire District, as well as some for Osawatomie in western Miami County. | Requirements: 18 years of Age Valid drivers license Willingness to learn and serve your community | Categories: Firefighter, EMT

Palmyra Fire District 2 covers 83 square miles around the city of Baldwin Kansas. We are looking for individuals interested in serving the community as a volunteer firefighter. We currently are in need of day time help, but will consider all applicants. We run a wide variety of calls from structure fires, grass fires to power line down calls and investigations. We cover the largest township in Douglas County Kansas. | Requirements: We require that you have a valid drivers license and be able to pass a background check.
