Cleveland Vol Fire Dept
We are looking for firefighters and Emergency Medical personnel to volunteer with our small, rural department. Our BLS, non-transport fire department handles approximately 750 calls per year and proudly serves about 4,500 residents across nearly 12 square miles. We also have a strong mutual aid response with neighboring jurisdictions. There are plenty of training opportunities available through local resources and the Alabama Fire College for fire and EMS certifications, so no prior training or certifications are required to apply. We have certified instructors on staff to provide the necessary training you need to be successful as a volunteer or, later, as a career firefighter if you continue to pursue that path.
