The Rich Hill Fire Department is recruiting highly motivated individuals to join the dedicated members of our department to serve the community we proudly protect. The Rich Hill Fire Department responds to a wide range of emergencies that immediately threaten life and property to routine citizens requests for information or assistance. Firefighters perform duties in the following general categories: fire suppression, emergency medical aid or rescue, hazardous material responses, training, and public education. Members of the Rich Hill Fire Department normally work under the supervision of a company officer and is expected to function effectively as part of a highly trained team. They are also expected to perform their duties under adverse conditions and physical conditions that pose a high risk of personal injury or exposure to hazardous conditions or infectious diseases. Not all volunteers have to respond to every emergency, but someone has to respond to every emergency! | Requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age. Must possess a valid Missouri drivers license. Must consent to a criminal background check. Would prefer the member lives within the response area of Rich Hill Fire Department, applicants living outside our response area will be considered on a case by case basis.
