We are always looking for anyone ages 16-18 for our Junior firefighter program and anyone over age 18 to be a "regular" volunteer firefighter. No experience, no problem; we will teach you everything you need to know to be a vital part of this awesome community service. We are a combination department, which means we have career staff and volunteers. Our program is hugely successful and in the past 10 years, we have helped almost 100 volunteers reach their goal of becoming career firefighters. However, if your goal is to be here for your community, as a volunteer, then we can accommodate that as well. This is hard work and it doesn't happen overnight. You will need to commit real time on a consistent basis to be properly trained to handle a myriad of all-hazards incidents.
